Plaintiff seeks 4-Year Prison sentence for Raúl Asencio and €58k in compensation

According to a report from Marca, the lawyer who represents the claimant in the Asencio case has demanded a prison sentence of four years for the player, calculated together with a fine at € 10 per day for 20 months and a total of € 58,000 in compensation.

Marca states that although Raúl Asencio has not participated in the consensual sexual activities between three teammates and two female victims, he is accused of “invasion of privacy” and “distribution of child pornography.”

The breakdown of the € 58,000 compensation required by the plaintiff's lawyer is as follows:

• € 27,000 for temporary physical and psychological damage

• € 21,000 for psychological after effects and post -traumatic stress disorder

• € 10,000 for emotional need

The plaintiff's lawyer argues that although the identity of Asencio as a footballer may not seem to be related to the damage assessment, actions have worsened the secondary damage to the minor victim. From the early stages of the investigation, the matter has attracted public attention and the development of Asencio's professional career further strengthened the visibility of the incident – which intensifies the psychological impact on the victim.
