‘Please don’t happen to me’… Tom Aspinall recalls witnessing one of the most devastating UFC knockouts of all time

Tom Aspinall experienced some pre-Vecht jitters after they walked into the location when a direct iconic knockout took place in the Octagon.

Although it has been some time since we last saw the interim -heavyweight champion of the UFC compete because of the current waiting game of Aspinall, when he steps into the spotlight, it will not linger for too long.

Together with a peak of devastating knockouts, Aspinall Alexander Volkov has submitted in London to show that he is dangerous where the fight takes place.

Although his calmness makes him such a good finisher, the Brit has been very open in the past about the difficulty with which he is confronted when he tries to control his emotions before he makes the cage.

Aspinall has recently been able to overcome its fears, but his concerns were not helped in 2020 by a knockout that UFC records broke.

On October 10 in Abu Dhabi, the UFC returned to the island for a map with Kop by Marlon Moraes who took on Cory Sandhagen.

Tom Aspinall earned his second victory in the Octagon on this specific evening, where he stopped the France Alan Baudot in just 95 seconds.

Unfortunately for the rising heavyweight prospect, every chance that he will get a performance of the night bonus will have a big hit after the fifth fight of the night.

October 10 is the day on which Joaquin Buckley produced his iconic spin-kick knockout against Impa Kasanganay, which would earn his place in the record books as the most viewed Instagram video and the most viewed tweet in UFC history.

In a video on his YouTube channel where Aspinall responded to some of the best stairs in the UFC history, the interim champion that although fans went crazy about the finish, this was not the best for him to testify hours for the 11th fight of his professional career.

In the response of Tom Aspinall to some of the most brutal stairs in the UFC history, there were seven different clips to which the interim champion responded.

Unbelievable, two of them were from the same card with the iconic kick of Joaquin Buckley who opened the video as you expected given the legendary status.

Later in the video the finish of the main event came on 10 October, where Cory Sandhagen Marlon Moraes stopped with a rotating wheel kick to bounce back from his first defeat in the Octagon.

After stopping Moraes in a stunning way, 'The Sandman' would continue to produce a new highlight Reel -Knock -Out when he flew Frankie Edgar with a flying knee only four months later.
