Pogba eyes Ligue 1 move as he pushes for France recall
The 31-year-old's ban for using a banned substance is due to expire in March next year and now sources have told ESPN that the iconic midfielder is looking to make a move in a few months' time in a bid to rebuild his career .
Sources suggest the former Manchester United star wants to play in one of his home continent's established leagues to give himself a better chance of climbing into Didier Deschamps' French set-up, where he has fallen out of place.
Several clubs have been in contact with the player's entourage over a possible move as he trains in Miami to improve his match fitness ahead of the January transfer window. Pogba tested positive for DHEA and has not played since September 3, 2023 after Juventus' Serie A match against Udinese in August that year.
Injuries have also limited the Frenchman to just eight Serie A appearances in his second spell at Juventus before his suspension last year and now, following the termination of his contract, he will be hoping to stay fit and return to his old self.
