Pogba willing to take wage cut to join Marseille

According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Hawkins, Free Agent Paul Pogba is said to make a wage to become a member of Olympique De Marseille. This is after Marseille director of Voetbal Mehdi Benatia in an interview with L'équipe admitted that Les Phocéens considered a movement for the World Cup winner 2018 in the winter transfer window. Yet it looks more and more that if the former man of Juventus and Manchester United have to move to the Vélodrome, to wait until the summer. Hawkins reports that Pogba was contacted by Marseille this winter and the potential arrival of the midfielder was enlightened green by head coach Roberto de Zerbi. Pogba reportedly shown the willingness to take a wage reduction, in the concept that it would be difficult to negotiate everywhere near his previous deal with Juventus before his suspension of sporting activities. The future of the Frenchman remains in the balance after his four -year doping prohibition was reduced to 18 months after appeal at the end of 2024.
