Raising lovers gathered in Portugal for a heartbreaking service to say a final goodbye to the Portuguese star, 28, and his 25-year-old brother or sister, who both died on Thursday in a fatal car accident.
Brukbare mourners, including Jota's wife RUTE CARDOSO, were seen by the brothers' birthplace gondomar, while earlier today they entered the Igreja Matriz de Gondomar.
Only family and friends were allowed in, but a live stream with audio from the service, led by D. Manuel Linda, the bishop of Porto, was played outside for thousands of mourners who stood along the streets.
After the emotional funeral, the grave of the brothers opened to enable members of the public to express their respect.
But mourners soon took the opportunity to take pictures next to their cemetery, where the police arrived on the spot to break the crowd, the sun reports.
Fans were gathering around the grave, where some of them hang down and show telephones on the tombstone screen.
Mourning people quickly returned to the cemetery after the police intervention.
Earlier, his wife RUTE, 28, who shares three young children with Jota -two boys and a girl -kuted a cream -colored rose as she put her hand on her husband's coffin while it was brought into church.
In a sincere message to the three children of Jota, who did not attend the funeral service, the bishop said that he would “pray for you much for you” and the municipality told “whether it is difficult to see an adult cry, it is even harder to see a child cry.”

The song Ave Maria was played when the coffins were performed from the church this afternoon, with guests comforted each other while they walked behind them.
Jota's wife Rute was emotional and held the back of her husband's coffin. Someone next to her placed her arm around her. Those who were collected around the church applauded them while they went.
The two brothers will be laid to rest on the cemetery next to the church, less than 100 meters away. It is surrounded by olive trees.
A seventh day -Mass will also be held next Wednesday, July 9 at 9 p.m., in the same church where family members come together to remember the two brothers, to share and pray stories about them.
After the funeral, Portugal manager Roberto Martinez said: 'These are real, really sad days, as you can imagine. But today we showed that we are a big, close family.
'We are Portugal and it was essential for us that we are together for Andre Silva and Diogo Jota and we will always be together. Their mind will be with us forever.
He added: 'Thank you very much for messages and support from all over the world.
“It means a lot and today we are all one football family.”
Former Liverpool stars, including Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Fabinho and Thiago, as well as the Ruben Dias van Manchester City and Bernardo Silva today attended the service in Gondomar.
Portugal teammate Ruben Neves, who flew to Portugal after playing for Al-Hilal in their club World Cup collision in Orlando, USA, was also a pallbearer for Diogo's Coffin.
Merseyside Cabaretier John Bishop was also one of the stars that make their way in the church with Portugal and Wolves defender Nelson Semedo.
