Postecoglou fumes at Spurs mole, says he’s narrowed it down to a few names

Ange Postecoglou claims that there is a leak in the Tottenham camp that team secrets spends.

The Spurs -Baas says that the club is limited who De Mol is after noticing important private information that comes in the public domain in the past year.

His surprising revelation came after Postecoglou was asked about the fitness of winger Wilson Odobert after claims on social media prior to the Europa League match with Eintracht Frankfurt that the Frenchman had been sent for scans due to a hamstring problem.

Odobert, who missed a large part of the campaign with a hamstring problem, was left behind as an unused replacement when Spurs 1-1 pulled in their quarter-final first stage.

The Aussie revealed: “Look, there is no doubt that we have a leak in the club.

“Someone who keeps leaking information. They have the whole year. I don't know why.

“It doesn't help us. It simply makes our work harder.

“We try very hard to keep things in-house, like all clubs, because we don't want the opposition of the Game Day aware of any form of team selection.

“But we have someone in our camp who constantly provides information.

“We have limited it, we have looked at it for a while and have a bit of a reasonable idea of where it comes from.

“We will deal with it, but it is not useful for us and half is wrong information, half of it is half of the information.

“But indefensable, it certainly doesn't help our business, because what you want to try on the game day is keeping so much information in-house.

“We try very hard to find information about the opposition and very difficult, but with us someone has an open line for what we do.

“It's disappointing because you would like to think that everyone who is working in our camp is not against us.”

Tottenham hired former Arsenal Bigwig Vinai Venkatesham as their new Chief Executive.

The British-Indian Supremo, 44, will take over in the summer and be responsible for all operations on and next to the field in his new role after crossing the Divide of Noord-London.

Venkatesham, currently non-executive director of the British Olympic Association, decreased as CEO of the Gunners last summer and has rejected other jobs in the meantime.

He said: “I am excited to come to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

“After taking some time to charge and evaluate my options, I believe that this is an exceptional opportunity to work with Daniel [Levy]The board and all the staff to help the club move forward. '

It is still to be seen whether this will influence the role of Chief Football Officer Scott Munn.

The Aussie, 51, has been in his role in the management of all football departments since September 2023 – De Facto NO2 for chairman Daniel Levy.

Levy said: “The club has experienced considerable growth in recent years, making it crucial to expand our executive management.

“I have known Vinai for many years, because I worked in the Premier League and the ECA (European Club Association).

“I am personally happy that he has agreed to add our board while we build for success.”
