
Ange Postecoglou has given an update about the fitness of Tottenham Captain Son Heung-Min.
Son was not included in the MatchDay team on Sunday when Tottenham was beaten 4-2 by Wolves.
Tottenham wants son to be available when they are taken away from Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday in the second stage of their Europa League quart finale.
Son was replaced in the 80th minute of the first stage, which ended 1-1.
This season, son made 43 performances for Tottenham about all competitions and scored eleven goals, while giving 12 assists.
With Tottenham in 15th place in the Premier League, the Europa League is the last chance for the Postecoglou team to save something from their season.
Postecoglou has announced that he is hopeful that son and Wilson Odobert will be fit to be confronted with Frankfurt.
The Tottenham boss added that son struggled with a knock on his foot.
Before the game against Wolves, Postecoglou said: “Sonny knocked on his foot, so we're just a bit careful with him.”
“Wilson, as I said, we manage him right now. Both must be available for Thursday. '
Tottenham suffered further frustration when they were beaten by wolves in Molineux.
Wolves took the lead after just two minutes when Rayan scored Ait-Nouri, with his own goal from Djed Spence and then made 2-0.
Mathys Tel received a goal back for Tottenham, but Jorgen Strand Larsen then scored for wolves.
Although Richarlison scored for the visitors, Matheus Cunha, as a replacement, recovered the two goals of Wolves while they all took the points.
Hugo Ekitike Frankfurt took the lead in the first stage of the Europa League.
Pedro Porro then equalized to give Tottenham hope to continue to the last four.
