Ange Postecoglou believes that there is a 'general sentiment' in football that he will be fired by Spurs, even if he wins the Europa League.
The oppressed Aussie appears in the last opportunities Salon area while Spurs Tomorrow is organizing Eintracht Frankfurt in their quarter-final first leg.
Be eliminated by the Germans and it could be curtains after a terrible competition campaign – or at least that Postcoglou thinks the world is expected to happen.
But he insists that the evidence of his critics is not unevenly a motivating factor and that he is completely capable of turning things around, starting to watch a team third in the Bundesliga.
Postecoglou said: “I think (it is written this week) that even when we win it, I am gone anyway.
“The only reason I call it is because I think this is the general sentiment.
“I said before, that's not what drives me.
“I came to this club with a clear goal and vision of what the club needed and what I could offer.
“That is to change the way in which the team plays, to clearly rejuvenate the team because it was a team that came to the end of a cycle and to bring success.
“As long as I am in this position, that is always my focus, regardless of the sound that is there or what is or is not in the future.
“I don't see that, that should reduce my burning ambition, my desire and my determination in order to make that happen. Everything you achieve in life usually comes with a struggle.
“Certainly, everything I have achieved in my life has come with a fight from a professional perspective.
“This is just a different struggle, but never because of this struggle I have lost the will to fight for what I think is the right thing to do and I will continue to do that.”
Spurs have dropped this period in the Premier League in the Premier League.
They went out of the Carabao Cup in the semi -final phase and asked in the FA Cup, which means that the only way to save their season is in the Europa League.
It also remains their last chance to be eligible for Europe – and possibly to keep the task of Postecoglou.
Fulham -Baas Marco Silva and Anoni Iraola van Bournemouth are supposed to have admirers at Spurs if a change is made.
While German reports Crystal Palace – Baas Oliver Glasner identified – who led Frankfurt to the Europa League title in 2022 – as a possible target.
Postecoglou has lately had a fractious relationship with Spurs supporters.
But he hopes that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will fluctuate tomorrow night to help his team – like the fans of arch rivals who did Arsenal against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
He added: “(that is) extremely important.
“With every European game, whether you looked (on Arsenal) last night or tonight, whoever plays at home, the atmosphere has a big impact, absolutely does.
“We hope that tomorrow night is the same for us. We think that if we can let the crowd go tomorrow night, and we've had such nights this year, European nights have been good, the semi -final of the Carabao Cup first leg against Liverpool was really good.
“We need that tomorrow night, because in European football it is a large part of helping what are always tight tires for clubs to get an advantage.”
