Barcelona can all but guarantee a place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a win over Benfica on Tuesday, so there is a lot at stake for the Catalans in their seventh league match.
Hansi Flick's side will look to bounce back from Saturday's disappointing draw against Getafe, although Sport say there will be only one change to the squad starting in Lisbon: Gavi will drop out and his place will be taken by Frenkie de Jong . As such, Inaki Pena will be in goal again, while Wojciech Szczesny prepares to remain on the bench.
Benfica will be a very tough test for Barcelona, and they have already beaten Spanish opposition at the Estadio da Luz this season (Atletico Madrid, 4-0). It won't be easy for the Catalans to secure the victory they need, even if they head into it in good form, having won every match in 2025 before the draw at Getafe.
