Barcelona is in a stormy Milan for the second stage of their Champions League-half final against Inter. Bonds on 3-3 of the first stage, both parties seem optimistic about their chances, if up for the opposition. The Blaugrana, however, still have one or two injury problems to contend.
For Barcelona, the big question mark is the left place. Flick confirmed on Monday evening that Robert Lewandowski was fit but would start on the couch, while Eric Garcia is expected to replace Jules Kounde right back, as happened in the first stage, injured with the Frenchman. During the weekend, several reports emerged that claimed that Inigo Martinez could move to the left instead of Gerard Martin, who suffered from Denzel Dumfries in the first stage, but Sport says that Martin will start on the left.
That image is supported by MD, in a team that is arranged differently. Ferran Torres will play between Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, with Dani Olmo behind him. Pedri and Frenkie de Jong will anchor the midfield, with Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez continue.
After he had lost weight in the first stage, Lautaro Martinez looked like he would miss the second stage due to injury, but completed a training session without incidents on Monday. Simone Inzaghi told the press that it would depend on his feelings on Tuesday, but he is supported to start in an unchanged team of the first stage.
Benjamin Pavard also tested his ankle on Monday, but was excluded after felt more pain. In the meantime, Federico Dimarco, who suffered in the same way at the feet of Lamine Yamal in the first leg, will continue on the left.
Pavard is the only player who is expected to miss for Inter, while Joaquin Correa is not registered in Europe. Barcelona will be without Kounde, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marc Casado, Marc Bernal, Pablo Torre and Alejandro Bald, who has left such a hole on the left.
