Barcelona wants to make two victories of two at the start of the new La Liga season when they take it against Levante on Saturday evening. Hansi Flick's Side Coasted to Victory in Mallorca last weekend, and they hope to succeed in the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia.
It was an accomplished performance for the ruling champions at Son Moix, so Flick hopes for more of the same from his side. And with Robert Lewandowski back from an injury, Barcelona is strengthened for the trip to Valencia.
In terms of line-ups, Barcelona is expected to make two changes from the side that the previous time-out of Mallorca have defeated, according to the sport. Both changes come to midfield, where Gavi and Dani Olmo replaced Frenkie de Jong and Fermin Lopez respectively. Ferran Torres will keep his place, which means that Lewandowski must settle for a place on the sofa of the replacements.
Gavi might have bad luck to miss the startline-up last weekend after a very strong pre-season, but Flick now seems ready to kink him. Interestingly, he would play in a deeper role, where Olmo also expected to make his first start of the new campaign.
Levante plays their first home game of the new season and lost 2-1 at Alaves last weekend. And head coach Julian Calero is expected to make one change on the side that stood in line in Mendizorroza, with Carlos Alvarez in the side instead of Victor Garcia.
It promises to be an interesting spectacle in Valencia. Barcelona is regular favorites to achieve a different victory, but Levante will be happy to set up a show for their supporters in their first home game since they returned to La Liga.
