Premier League announce latest TV picks with Arsenal clash rescheduled and Liverpool’s day to lift the title

The potential festive date of Liverpool was decided after the final round of TV -picks.

The Premier League has announced that the top matches will be shown on the box for the rest of April and May.

Liverpool van Arne Slot runs away with the title and the second placed arsenal with 12 points.

The Reds organize the Gunners in their penultimate home game of the season.

Of their remaining eight games, Liverpool only needs 13 points to guarantee the title, regardless of other results.

Anfield is now playing hosts for Gunners on Sunday 11 May, with a kick -off of 4.30 pm.

The competition is broadcast live on Sky Sports.

If the results go their way, Liverpool could possibly lift the Premier League trophy while the Gunners went.

But it is more realistic that the Reds will be presented on 25 May, the last day of the season, the trophy against Crystal Palace.

If Slot's wins the title, this is the first time that the club's supporters have taken the trophy their side since May 1990.

The last title win of Liverpool came in the midst of Covid restrictions in 2020, without supporters allowed in Anfield for the parties.

In another change to the schedule, the Arsenal of Mikel Arteta will now come across on Wednesday 23 April at 8 p.m. at Crystal Palace.

The All-London collision was moved after Palace qualified for the semi-final of the FA Cup.

In a similar spirit, fellow semi-finalists Man City will now organize Aston Villa on Tuesday 22 April, while Nottingham Forest will take over on Thursday 1 May about Brentford.

Forest remains the surprise package of this season, with that competition in the city that starts at the earlier time of 7.30 pm.

The bees of Thomas Frank have seen their collision with Manchester United moved to Sunday 4 May, as a result of the FA Cup adventure of Forest.

Later in the month, Chelsea will compete against Newcastle in the early kick -off on Saturday 10 May.

But if the men of Enzo Maresca reach the next phase of the Europa Conference League, the competition will go to the afternoon on 11 May.

Regardless of when it starts, the game in St James' Park is shown live on TNT sports.
