Premier League clubs get Ademola Lookman transfer boost after Arsenal and Liverpool snubs

Premier League clubs got a huge boost in the race this summer to sign breathola lookman, while Atalanta prefers to sell abroad.

The Nigerian attacker, who scored a hat trick in last season's Europa League final, is ready to check a new challenge at the end of the season.

It comes after Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini recently claimed that LOOKMAN was one of the “worst penaltypersons” that he “ever saw” after recently missed the place in shock 3-1 Champions League-off defeat against Club Brugge.

Co-owner of Atalanta Stephen Pagliuca has since chosen lookman after the gorge, and claimed that Gascini's comments were somewhat unfair.

Pagliuca said: 'He made a mistake by talking about an individual. At Atalanta we have a policy with the Percassi family: if something goes wrong, we take responsibility. We look at ourselves and how we can improve. '

FUL-ETERTON, Fulham and Leicester Winger Lookman came close to leaving the Italian club last summer when he reached a verbal agreement on personal conditions with PSG.

The French giants, however, did not succeed in closing a deal and have since cooled their interest in the 27-year-old after signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in January.

Arsenal and Liverpool asked provisional questions for LOOKMAN last summer, but never followed their interest and it is still to see whether he is an option that will be explored again.

However, the availability of LOOKMAN has placed a number of top air clubs on Red Alert and he is expected to cost more than £ 50 million according to reports in Italy.

Given that the attacker will be 28 later this year, there are doubts in industry about whether a European club would be willing to go so high.

In December, LOOKMAN was appointed cafe African Footballer of the year. His current contract with Atalanta will expire in the summer of 2026, so they want to move it further.
