Barcelona star Dani Olmo could make a dramatic departure in early 2025.
The Catalan giants have secured a summer move to bring the former La Masia star back to Catalonia after a fantastic performance at UEFA Euro 2024.
However, despite a strong start at his boyhood club, his role in early 2025 is unclear.
The club are considering a sale to sign Olmo in January after being told they would need to increase their salary cap by €60m to do so.
Barcelona are not confident that their appeal against a court decision on the situation will be accepted and they are exploring multiple options to avoid an embarrassing departure for the 26-year-old.
However, with the player unsure of what is happening, his agent has reportedly taken matters into his own hands via the Daily Mail.
His representative Andy Bara has been spotted in Manchester – and despite the Croatian claiming the trip is for personal reasons – ties with Manchester City have been rekindled.
