While assessing PSG as the best team in Europe, Enrique admits that he was impressed by how Inter saw the former Club Barcelona in the semi -final.
He said: 'I watched it live and then again.
“Even as a fan of Barcelona. Based on what both teams showed, they would both earn it to reach the final.
“Inter is a team that has been playing at a high level for years, with a coach and a core group of players who are very related and play differently than many other teams.
“They can defend high or deep, and that creates different variations in their urgent game, but for me they are a real team. Everyone does their work for the well -being of the group. They have good individuals, but also a strong ability to move the ball and they know exactly what to do.
“I think it will be a very open final, very competitive, a great match to watch, not only for fans of the two clubs, but for all football enthusiasts. I really love how Inter Play: they like to attack and they place many players in positions to do this.
PSG have stars that serve the team
On PSG's media day for the final, Enrique also spoke the team ethics of his players, regardless of their status.
“For me there are many stars in this team, and that is its beauty: stars that serve the team, not the other way around,” Enrique explained.
“That is a big difference. I am very lucky because I have so many players at a high level, all the stars in their own way, but their work and performance are employed by the team.
“And in a team sport such as football, that is the most important. Moreover, we never trust only one player – because there are always injuries, dips in shape, someone who does better or worse … what is important is that the whole team is ready.”
