PSG reject AS Monaco’s Randal Kolo Muani offer

Paris Saint-Germain faced AS Monaco in the Trophée des Champions in Qatar on Sunday. Once again Randal Kolo Muani (26) was completely absent from the match selection, while his future clearly lay elsewhere.

PSG's opponent on Sunday, as they retained the Trophée des Champions, was Monaco. The Principality club are looking for a striker in January after it was confirmed that Folarin Balogun would be in action for several months after undergoing surgery on his shoulder injury.

Manfred Ugalde has been touted as an option by Mohamed Toubahce-Ter and L'Équipe, while Fabrizio Romano understands that a deal on personal terms exists with Mika Biereth. However, the club has also shown a strong interest in Kolo Muani, strong enough to make an offer.

Monaco made an offer for a direct loan, but was rejected, according to Téléfoot. Les Parisiens want to sell the striker or loan him out with an option to buy. Aston Villa, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, AC Milan and Juventus all remain interested in Kolo Muani, according to Téléfoot.
