Do not expect any surprises from Luis Enrique in the Champions League final this Saturday. The Spanish manager has formed his go-to-line-up for months and will trust the same core as players who have driven the European PSG campaign. Donnarumma starts in Doel, with a back line of Achraf, Marquinhos, Pacho and Nuno Mendes.
Luis Enrique knows his team
The midfield trio of Vitinha, Neves and Fabián Ruiz – under the tournament – will again be charged with winning the tactical battle in the middle of the field, an important area that could tip the balance in favor of PSG. In the front Ligue 1 champion Dembélé will lead the border, while Kvaratskhelia, who missed the French Cup final with Migraine, is back and is expected to take its place on the left wing.
The only decision for PSG
The only real decision that remains for Luis Enrique is who will join the attack at Dembélé and Kvaratskhelia. Barcola, who scored twice in the cup final, offers firepower and momentum. But Doué has been a game changer of the bank in the Champions League, especially in the round of 16 in Anfield against Liverpool.
PSG fans currently know the starting XI by heart. Luis Enrique sticks to what works. The Paris club chases his very first European crown ever in just its second final – the first since 2020 – still hungry against an interkant after their defeat against City in Istanbul two years ago. A victory would only make PSG the second French team to cancel the trophy, after Marseille in 1993 – also in Munich, also against one side of Milan.
PSG Side to Face Inter Milan:
Donnarumma – Achraf, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes – Fabián, Vitinha, Neves – Barcola, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.
