PSG to receive a €12,5m bonus from Hugo Ekitiké’s Liverpool move

PSG is expected to receive € 12.5 million from Eintracht Frankfurt after the transfer of € 79 million from France International U23 Center-Forward Hugo Ekitiké (23) to Liverpool, according to Le Parisien.

On the back of his breakout 2021-2022 season with Reims, Ekitiké joined PSG in the movement of € 29 million. Unfortunately the player could not attract, because PSG head coach Christophe Galtier was already full of options, such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. In the end, Ekitiké registered only four goals and so many assists in 33 performances for Les Parisiens.

During the winter transfer window of 2024, Ekitiké left PSG to join Eintracht Frankfurt. The move included an option of € 16.5 million to make the movement of Ekitiké permanent to that Adler, as well as a bonus clause of 20 %. Since the Bundesliga side reportedly made a plus value of € 62.5 million of the sale of Ekitiké to the Premier League champions, PSG can expect a bonus of € 12.5 million.
