Luis Enrique emphasized the importance of maintaining a “positive dynamic”, after the 2-1 victory of Paris Saint-Germain over Le Havre.
PSG has already secured a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title, but are now aimed at becoming the first team that is undefeated by an entire top season in France.
The much -changed side of Luis Enrique remained on course to achieve that, because goals from Desire Done and Goncalo Ramos sealed a routine three points.
The head coach made nine changes to the team that PSG's Champions League defeat of the second leg against Aston Villa started in midweek, when they prevailed to be aggregated to continue to the semi-final.
Luis Enrique believes that the character that shows his players has placed the benchmark for the rest of the season, because they focus on a possible treble.
“I am very happy,” he told the official club website. “I am happier than for most games, because I knew how difficult it would be to play this game.
“Playing after the Knockout match of the Champions League against Aston Villa, we made many changes in terms of players.

“I think it was a very important test for me, and very important for the players. I am happy with their performance.
“It is very important to maintain this positive dynamic. We must think that the best way to prepare for the important competitions that come with this mentality is and this character to fight for every trophy.”
Under the raft of changes, Luis Enrique handed a first senior start at Parc des Princes to the 17-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye, and the young person was pleased to play his role in keeping PSG on schedule.
“It was a very good game,” he said. “We scored very early and we got the victory. We are very happy and I hope we will continue like this.
“I try to play my game, also to adapt to my teammates. We play together in training. I try to apply what they advise me to do, so do the coach's advice. It is a pleasure of having made my first start here.”
