PSV Eindhoven are again champions of the Eredivisie. The ruling champions defeated Sparta Rotterdam with 3-1 after a dominant version in the castle.

Malik Tillman, Noa Lang, Luuk de Jong, Ivan Perisic and Joey Veerman all came close to scoring, but the opening goal took a while to present himself.

Sparta took the goal of PSV as a motivation to increase the pressure itself and started to create opportunities in the last phases of the first half. Striker Tobias Lauritsen closely pulled the ball along the wrong side of the post – a ball that some believed that there was going inside and Ajax's Johan Cruyff Arena temporarily erupted – and Ajax – loaner Krystian Hlynsson dismissed a powerful attempt on the Near Post, but was able to beat the departing PSV -Stopper Walter.
After half with 14 attempts and an XG of 1.82, PSV went into the break as virtual champions with a 1-0 lead.

PSV's nightmare lasted only six minutes when Luuk de Jong placed the Eindhoven side in front of the front after Noa had long found the striker in the box. Sparta protested the goal after an assumed error on Patrick van Aanholt, but the VAR saw no misconduct.
PSV continued to spend Nick Olij's goal and did not stop creating opportunities while they hunted that precious lead of two goals, and the side of Peter Bosz rewarded himself in the 85th minute when Malik Tillman put the last nail in the coffin and scored the decision 3-1.
PSV saw the match and celebrated a once unlikely 26th league title after coming up with a 9-point behind to Ajax in the last weeks of the season.
