Milan won 4-0 thanks to goals from Rafael Leao, Strahinja Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders.
Afterwards the American captain Pulisic said: “Yes (it was our best performance), we won and did not admit – that is really fun. There is a lot of competition for assists with me and Leo, but if we win and play like that, it's great.
“And he is great when he does this, with goals and assists.”
Pulisic also commented on the recovery of Mike Maignan after he had remained unconscious after a collision with Alex Jimenez.
“The most important thing is that Mike is fine. Our thoughts are with him,” he added.
