‘Pure disrespect’… UFC fighter furious at brutal close-up of convulsing welterweight at UFC Vegas 107

UFC Vegas 107 was perhaps not particularly memorable, but it saw one hunter a frightening finish.

Before the June schedule with the UFC 316 Pay-per-View was opened on 7 June, the leading promotion of MMA had business to attend in the low capacity APEX location.

The card was a withheld affair, both in terms of name value and much of the promotion on Fight Night. But there were still highlights for fans and analysts to digest, including an entry for ex-Paddy Pimblett opponent Jordan Leavitt and a knockout from former Alex Pereira-Rivaldal Dustin Jacoby.

But it was another time that one UFC huntered in the arms.

Nazim Sadykhov unhappy with the handling of Billy Ray Goff by Billy Ray Goff Vegas 107 Loss

Among the striking artists at UFC Vegas 107 was Ramiz Brahimaj, a good weight prospect that made his seventh performance in the Octagon.

The 32-year-old insured his first victory in the UFC by choking Billy Ray Goff with a tight high-elbow Guillotine choke.

After making them unconscious by the move, fans received a close-up shot from Goff thanks to a new referee tram to Chris Tognoni.

The decision of the UFC production team to switch to that brutal shot caused some controversy, with Sadykhov standing up for his colleague hunter.

“I'm not going to lie that this camera work is pure disrespectful,” wrote Sadykhov on X. “Go out of the face of an unconscious hunter.”

The Azerbaijanjan hunter expanded at that point in another post, and insisted that there was no need to send such a dense view of Goff while he was unconscious.

“My opinion is that the unconscious hunter has a minute. It is the lowest moment for him/her. [Obviously] It is on live TV, but no reason to zoom in on someone's nostrils. “

I will not lie that this camera work is pure disrespectful. Go out of an unconscious hunter's face ..

UFC Vegas 107 had an anticlimactic end after sudden cancellation

While the impressive entry of Brahimaj marked the high of UFC Vegas 107, the planned main event was unmistakably the low.

Top five flying weight contenders in Blanchfield and Maycee Barber were set to close the show, with both women looking for their claim for a shot at the title of Valentina Shevchenko.

Just a few minutes before their headliner, a medical problem for Barber canceled the Blanchfield Main event.

'Cold Blooded' was then given her show and won money from the UFC, but missed the opportunity to rival Natalia Silva and strict weight Queen Zhang Weili in flying weight.
