Tottenham Hotspur -boss Ange Postecoglou insisted that he was not aware of any meetings with regard to his future in the club after the Europa League triumph on Wednesday.
Postecoglou led Spurs to their first trophy in 17 years after beating Manchester United with 1-0 in Bilbao, with Brennan Johnson's 42nd minute goal.
Indeed, it was the third UEFA Cup / Europa League trophy from Spurs, with only Seville (seven) who won more and yielded a silver lining for what a disappointing campaign has been.
The Postecoglou team is 17th in the Premier League prior to their last game of the season this Sunday, where they welcome Brighton in Noord -Londen.
Speculation around the future of the Australian at Spurs has been a topic of conversation for a large part of the season, although Postecoglou remained relaxed about possible discussions and wanted to enjoy their European conquest.
“No planned meetings. I have had no discussions,” said Postecoglou. “Nobody spoke about anything. Maybe she felt that they don't need that, or maybe they are waiting for this game.
“Look, what I do know is that I get back to my hotel room, get my family and friends together, open a nice bottle of Scotch, have a few calm.
“Then get ready for a huge parade on Friday, play Brighton – really important last home game on Sunday. I want to end strong.
“And then on Monday I go on vacation with my beautiful family because I earn it. And que sera.”

By winning on Wednesday, Spurs achieved their place in next season's Champions League and assured a windfall worth around £ 100 million.
It also saw Postecoglou achieve his promise to win a trophy in his second season, something he mentioned earlier in the campaign.
Indeed, after the victory of Spurs' Europa League, Postecoglou has now won a trophy in his second full season with a club after previous triumphs at Celtic, Yokohama F. Marinos, Australia and Brisbane Roar.
Postecoglou repeated his wish to continue working with the group, with the Europa League final his 100th competition that was in charge of Spurs in all competitions.
The 59-year-old has left for his current contract for two years, but it is still to be seen whether he will be at the helm for the 2025-26 campaign.
“I would be disappointed if I couldn't continue this path. I understand why it would be difficult for a club like this to buy in one person's vision,” Postecoglou said.
“Even when I signed [chairman] Daniel [Levy] Said “We went after winners, it didn't work and now we have anger.” Maat, I am a winner.
“I have been a serial winner all my career. It is what I have done more than anything. I know people talk about my football that I am very proud of.
“I know people reject my performance because they did not happen on this side of the world, but they were all acidic.”
