Quill urges Dallas to study Suarez and Messi ahead of Inter Miami clash

FC Dallas head coach Eric Quill said that his players should study Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, among others, if they want to beat Inter Miami this weekend.

Dallas comes in the collision on the back of a scoreless draw with Minnesota United previous time -out, and is without a victory in their last three MLS matches.

Currently, ninth in the Western Conference, Quill acknowledged the difficulty in which Dallas is confronted with the only undefeated team that remains in the competition this season.

“We have to identify all their weapons and trends with which they try to play,” said Quill. “We have seen it, but they consistently perform it at a high level.

“We must have an increased consciousness for 95 minutes. We cannot stay -fixed.

“And in one V a moments against boys like Messi and Suarez, these guys have to study them and their fine movements and have a game plan to stop them.

“We have to do a good job to close the centrally by passing lanes. It is a tough task and a tough question, but it is one that my players are definitely for.”

Inter Miami will meanwhile respond to their 2-0 defeat of the Vancouver WhiteCaps in the first stage of their Concacaf Champions Cup Semi-Final in Midweek.

The Champions Cup represents one of the three non-MLS trophies that chase the herons, because Captain Messi wants to add more silverwork to the team.

Mascherano did not hesitate to cherish the fault for the defeat, but said that this weekend's collision at the Chase Stadium is the perfect preparation for the second stage.

“We have to learn as a team of tonight and find a way to come back,” Mascherano told reporters after the game.

“We will try to analyze what happened, try to change and we will try to come back. It's difficult, but it's not impossible.
