Rai is adamant PSG his favorites to enter the Munich final.
“It is a historic moment for Parisian football,” enthusiastically Rai during a press conference in the Paris town hall on Monday. “I am very happy. In a month we have promoted Paris FC and now PSG are the favorites for the Champions League final.
“A great job has been done with this philosophy to get the best from the youth sector. One of the strong points of French football is the training of young players, in addition to the work of Luis Enrique and the staff.”
PSG are favorites
According to Rai, Ousmane Dembélé and his teammates have a little more than Inter.
“Inter are a great team, you never know what can happen. But PSG are the favorites and there is a good chance that they will eventually win the Champions League. They are a young and close team that can still play for several seasons.
“They are favorites because they have defeated Liverpool and Arsenal, even if Inter Barcelona beats, the way in which PSG plays this season is efficient, both in attack and in defense. It is complete, everyone takes part, and in modern football this is fundamental.”
The victory would be earned
A seven-time trophy winner with PSG, RAI was part of the team that lifted the first European trophy of the club, the Cup Winners' Cup in 1996.
“Everything that PSG has done in recent years, winning so many French competition titles, French cups and some great performances in the Champions League against large teams … It is a great moment, if they can, it would be earned.”
