The most famous knockout of the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion was replicated on Saturday evening.

The 22-year-old Elia Smith Ko'd his opponent with a slam to improve to 9-1 as an MMA hunter.

In June 2004, Quinton Jackson was at the right to Submission specialist Ricardo Arona at Pride Critical Countdown.

After the 7 -minute marking, Arona made the serious mistake to try to lock a triangle of his back.

Jackson's answer to the threat of the entry was to use pure power to lift his opponent high in the air before he drove him back to the mat with devastating impact.

Arona was immediately cold after his head crashed against the canvas. Joe Rogan later claimed that the iconic slam ko 'of that MMA legend is perhaps the hardest one ever touched'.

More than two decades later, no one had succeeded in scoring a Powerbomb Ko such as Jackson's to UFC Vegas 109.

The UFC icon was quickly to give the honor where it owed after seeing Smith's violent victory over Toshiomi Kazama.

“Yooooo @Shakurdabag02 also got that wolf in him,” Jackson wrote on Instagram in addition to a video with both SLAM Ko's.

Toshiomi Kazama Health Update

Kazama was unconscious for a few minutes after one of the most violent Ko's in the UFC history.

Fans criticized the referee because he could take him two more punches after he had been put asleep by the SLAM.

After regaining consciousness, Kazama was transported to a local hospital to be checked.

The UFC Vegas 109 broadcast was then interrupted with an update on his medical condition.

Backstage reporter Karyn Bryant revealed that all Kazama CT scans came back negatively, allowing him to leave the hospital.
