Randy Couture says Francis Ngannou took him down with a double leg
In his esteemed career, Randy Couture cemented his place as a true legend by winning world titles in two weight classes.
Although the athlete had respectable punching skills, he was known for his wrestling ability, which he competed around the world and won the 1991 Pan American Championships.
Now that he's left the competition behind, the icon is helping guide the next generation in his gym: Xtreme Couture.
Francis Ngannou regularly trains at the facility and once shared the mats with the UFC Hall of Famer during an eventful wrestling session.

In an interview on Verse Us with Erick Nicksick, Couture admitted, “It was a wrestling day… But man, the first two were great, smaller guys. It felt good. And then, on that third attempt, here is Francis [Ngannou]. I'm like, 'Here we go.'
“He hit me with a double whammy, man; I haven't been cursed like this in forever. Sun disappeared. The whole five minutes I sat at the bottom and thought, 'Oh, this looks great.'

While most begin their professional MMA careers, Couture didn't take up the sport until her mid-30s in their early twenties.
And he was in his 40s during some of his biggest nights.
The combat sports titan has now revealed that people called him 'crazy' ahead of his favorite UFC win.
