Fighting in the UFC runs in two families after the event on Saturday evening in the Apex in Las Vegas.
UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture is one of the best it ever does as a more time heavyweight and slightly heavyweight champion.
When 'The Natural' mentioned time on his career after his last outing in the Octagon at UFC 129 in 2011, his legacy was already insured.
Looking for the name of the couture at the highest level of the sport was one of his three children, Ryan Couture, who debuted his father in the UFC two years after his father, debuted in the UFC.
For a long time, Ryan Couture was the only second generation hunter in the history of the MMA leader, but that record was finally broken on February 15 in the fighting capital of the world.

Elia Smith becomes the second second generation Jager in the UFC history with his father in his corner
The 22-year-old prospect Elia Smith made his UFC debut on Saturday evening where he defeated Vince Morales through a unanimous decision.
The 8-1 Bantam weight earned its place on the Roster via an impressive show on the Contender Series of Dana White last September, where he became the first person to defeat Aaron Tau van New Zealand.
Smith wrote history at the top by entering the footsteps of his father, Gilbert Smith, who was in his corner for the UFC debut of his son, making them joined Ryan and Randy Couture in the history books.

Gilbert only participated once in the Octagon where he was submitted by Bubba McDaniel after he was part of the cast for the Ultimate Fighter Season 17, where he was a member of the Jon Jones team.
He later returned to the show in 2017 for the Ultimate Fighter: Redemption (season 25), where he still got a shot in the Octagon as part of the TJ Dillashaw team.
After collecting a pro-record of 13-6, the 43-year-old now passes his experience on to his son who certainly has played some heads in his recent fights.
Elia Smith, son of UFC veteran Gilbert Smith, who is about to make his debut on #UFCVEGAS102 and joins Ryan Couture (son of Randy Couture) as the second, second generation of hunter in the octagonal history.

Elia Smith seems to be an exciting addition to the Bantam weight division
Elia Smith seems to be much more than a trivia question answer to the second generation UFC hunters.
He may have gone to back-to-back decisions, but it cannot be overlooked that he is confronted with heavy opposition in both Aaron Tau and Vince Morales.
The fight was a narrow back and weather match at UFC Vegas 102, where Smith took the first and third rounds on all three score cards to win his first victory in the Octagon.
It also seems that the families of Couture and Smith will soon be accompanied by a third generation of competitor in the near future after it was announced that Kennedy Freeman, the daughter of former heavyweight and British pioneer Ian Freeman, signed with the promotion.
