Queen's Park crashed a record of 143 years to leave Philippe Clement opposite the bag.
The oldest club in Scotland had not defeated Rangers in a Scottish Cup -similar game since 1882.
They had not defeated the light blues since 1948.
But Super Sub Seb Drozd and Hero Keeper Calum Ferrie combined to rewrite the history books for an amazing afternoon that no spider fan will ever forget.
The stunning winner of Drozd was in itself something to enjoy.
But ask the fan of every queen and they will tell you that Ferrie's dramatic stopping time Penalty Redd, even that, because James Tavernier was refused a last-gasp-equal maker.
Make no mistake, this was Rangers' worst defeat ever at Ibrox – one that will struggle Clement to come back.
It is 25 years since Caley Thistle became famous ballistic in the city – when Celtic Gaffer John Barnes paid at the time with his work.
Old sturdy managers do not survive if this cup shocks.
For Queen's Park, they proudly march on to the quarterfinals – the first time they have reached this phase of the competition since 1957.
And it's no more than earning the heroes of Callum Davidson.
In general, they were well drilled and well organized.
Rangers just had bad luck and ideas.
Time is now up for Clement.
Celtic's lead at the top of the table is 13 points.
The Rangers title race is run.
While Europe will still come, the Scottish Cup represented the best hope of Clement on Silverwerk this season.
Nobody would now bet against another Hoops Treble.
Sometimes the track has looked further than the Belgian this season.
There was the early setback of Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv.
There were harmful defeats for Celtic, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock in the competition.
There was the catastrophic Christmas period that culminated in a 1-1 draw at Dens, a result that the Belgian left on the edge.
No this.
It is just over a year since Davidson took the lead over Queen's Park.
He did this with the spiders second bottom of the championship.
Now that they are in the fifth, they came to dream of an Ibrox over control.
Clement made five changes to his line-up and gave Rafael Fernandes and Bailey Rice their first starts.
Kyle Hurst, on loan from Doncaster, started behind the only striker Zak Rudden for the visitors.
During the break, Davidson could not have wished anymore.
His players, although guilty of giving a series of debts, had all given them all.
And crucial, every time they had taken a trouble, they found a way out.
To say that it was the Ibrox -mixed frustrating and manager Clement is something of an understatement.
Rangers should have been far ahead. But almost everything they did in a matte first half lacked urgency.
Their first chance fell in the first five minutes. Queen's keeper Calum Ferrie's Nervy clearance landed at Mohamed Diomande's feet.
The midfielder had a very open goal to set up, but somehow he dragged his shot wide from the target.
After a well -developed corner, Ianis Hagi shot centimeters past the pole while Rangers continued to run.
Hagi did well on the left and unpacked Diomande who had included a good position in the box.
He took it the first time and forced Ferrie in a fantastic reflex saving.
Vaclav Cerny stood next to the home team after he connected well to Nedim Bajrami.
But after he was broken in the box, he was also thwarted by Ferrie.
Bajrami then tried to beat Ferrie on the back post when the Albanian the corner of James Tavernier should have led back to the goal.
Then, with 34 minutes left on the clock, a large brought loose for the young Zach machine.
His back pass went directly to Hamza Igmane, who was too slow to dig the ball out of his feet.
The Moroccan finally forced it on the path of Diomande, which would never score from such an acute angle.
He should certainly have scored with just four minutes from the first half.
Tavenier's corner found rice that Diomande chose, totally unark.
But with the goal that was again gaping, he somehow shot wide.
Then Jack Turner, exactly at the tranquility of the tranquility, rode in the rescue of Queen's Park when he led a hagi effort of the line.
Rangers should increase the pace in the second half.
Despite dominating possession, they were well apart from the expected standard and it was no surprise to see Nico Raskin and Cyriel Dessers come for the start of the second half.
Rice and Bajrami were the ones who make way.
Igamane shot high after a neat build -up game by Cerny created the first chance of the second half.
The natives started to become restless.
The game plan of Queen's Park worked and Gers became more and more erratic.
With 55 minutes on the clock, the visitors came to the fore for the first time in the game – Hurst came so close to the turning of the cross of Rudden.
As the visitor's confidence grew, Ibrox started to simmer.
Cooked with still 20 minutes of remaining tensions while Queen's Park stormed ahead.
Drozd had only been to the park for three minutes when he took control of a Louis Longridge corner.
Ghosting beyond Jefte, he hit a brilliant finish past Liam Kelly.
With only 20 seconds of five minutes of stopping time, Rangers received a penalty.
William Tizzard was assessed as pollution of dessers.
Of all the spotkicks he scored, this was the biggest kick of Tav's Gers career.
But it was not to draw a remarkable salvation with Ferrie.
