Ranieri reveals Roma will announce new manager soon amid Erik ten Hag links

Ranieri, 73, took it back in November after Ivan Juric's resignation, stabilized the ship and took Roma back in the race for European football at the end of the season.

Yet the legendary Italian coach insists that his plans have not changed, and the club will soon mention their new manager in the midst of left to former man United -boss Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag was present for their Serie A competition with Juventus on Sunday after being invited by the ownership of the club.

Ranieri said to TMW: “Ghisolfi and I followed the English model. We started with seven or eight candidates and have reduced the list to three or four. It's close, really close.”

On Ten Hag he added: “Do you believe I don't know him? I never met him. I read that I ate with him, but believe me, I never met him. I am convinced that a good coach will arrive.”
