Barcelona recorded an important victory over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening, securing three points that all but guarantee their place in the top eight of the Champions League. It was also the first time in three years that Dortmund had been defeated at Signal Iduna Park in Europe.
Still, Raphinha staked his claim for the most impressive statistic of the evening. The Brazilian scored his sixth goal of the season in the Champions League, moving level with Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy, just one behind leader Robert Lewandowski. As noted by MD, Raphinha has a 100% conversion rate when it comes to his shots on target. All six of his efforts were successful.
He will be grateful he did finish on Wednesday as he ignored Lamine Yamal, who had an open goal at the other end of the penalty area. In total he has made 22 shots on target, giving him a success rate of 27.2%, but his six strikes do come from an expected goals rating of just 2.8. In total, Raphinha has provided 17 goals and eight assists in just 23 games this season.
