Raphinha fired the fires of the fierce rivalry between Argentina and Brazil during the last international break and has now spoken out after a little less than savory scenes
Barcelona Raphinha has not shown no regrets for his “F *** them” Jibe Jibe Jibe to Argentina who saw a bitter words of words explode. The Brazilian winger spoke for the two meeting of the two South American countries in the latest international break and made less than savory comments.
Speaking with Brazili icon Raphinha, he said: “We are going to hit and out of the field if necessary. I will score. They can themselves ***!
“You have to touch them in Argentina, it hurts! They are B *******.” Romario then added to the Word War, as he asked Raphinha: “F *** them?”, To which Barcelona's husband explicitly replied: “F *** them.”
And although they look a bit stupid – Brazil lost 4-1 to Argentina last month – Raphinha insists that he does not regret his comments. Speaking with TNT Sports Brazil after the Champions League victory of Barcelona against Borussia Dortmund, said the former Leeds star: “Explanation about Argentina? Maybe the word I used was not the most suitable, but if I wear the National Team Shirt, I will be to defend my country.
“What is important to me is that I will defend my fans, whether it is in the national team or here in Barcelona. If I have to fight, regardless of who is the other side, for the well -being of the team, I will fight.
“I will not take a word back that I said. Maybe the way I spoke was a bit sharp, but as I said, I will always fight for the national team sweater as long as I am there.”
Raphinha's words did not fall particularly well with a link from Argentina stars. Ex-Manchester City star Julian Alvarez had a brutal answer after finding the net in the match against Brazil.
He said: “Of course, that way of speaking adds some herbs to a match like this. Thanks to our humility and work that we have played a great match. We danced around it.”
Midfielder Leandro Paredes also had his say about Raphinha's comments. After the game he said: “You shouldn't talk about it in advance, you shouldn't say things like this if you can't support it on the field.
“When he said that, we sent it to the WhatsApp group and we discussed it. When things like this happens, we stand on the field for ourselves.”
And while the dressing room seemed to have a furious response to the eruption of Raphinha, Argentina -Baas Lionel Scaloni was a little more diplomatic. The World Cup winning coach suggested that he 'apologized' the winger and knew for sure that he did not mean any attack by his comments.
