Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said that Liverpool -wing player Luis Diaz and Manchester United Vooruit Marcus Rashford “Fantastic players” are in the midst of speculation The Spanish champions are interested in signing one of them.
This season Raphinha excelled on the left wing and signed a contract extension until 2028 on Thursday, but Barça wants to add another option to their team for that position.
Sports director Deco admitted that he held the Premier League duo on the Spanish radio earlier in the week and confirmed Flick that he has a similar opinion.
“Normally I don't want to talk about players who are not in my team, but of course both are fantastic players,” Flick told a news conference on Saturday, a day before Barca's last La Liga match in Athletic Bilbao.
“I like them and we will see what is happening – but of course they are fantastic players.”
England International Rashford is out of grace at Manchester United and spent the second half of the season on loan in Aston Villa.

Colombian winger Diaz is a regular for Premier League champions Liverpool and could cost around 80 million euros (£ 67 million), which would be a significant financial edition for a Barca side that is still struggling in that respect.
This season they had to fight against La Liga via the legal system to allow Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to play after they were not registered on time due to economic issues.
Barca wing player Ansu Fati is linked to a move to Ligue 1 -side Monaco, which played only six LA Liga matches this season.
“(Ansu leaving) is not my decision, he has a contract and will make the decision,” said Flick.
“If he wants to talk to me, he can do that, it's not a problem, but for me it's his decision.”
Flick renewed his Barça deal until 2027 this week after a season in which the Catalans won a domestic Treble, which added the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup to their competition triumph.
The German coach said he thought it could be more difficult in the coming season, but that Barça would look to increase their level even further.
“We also want to improve next season, I know it's not easy, the next season can be more difficult than this season,” Flick added.
“But of course we have confidence, we know how well we can play football, but we also have to work at this level … (and the staff) also have to work hard and give the players more options.”
