Marcus Rashford is the face of January on Manchester United's official 2025 calendar despite being linked with a move away from the club.
After a dismal campaign under Erik ten Hag last season, the arrival of Ruben Amorim appeared to offer the 27-year-old the chance for a new life at Old Trafford.
In Amorim's first Premier League game at the club, Rashford scored an early goal in a draw against Ipswich, before following that up with a brace in a dominant 4-0 win over Everton last month.
Since then, however, Rashford has found his playing time increasingly limited and was benched for defeats to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
Both Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were left out of the squad for United's derby clash against Manchester City.
The Argentine has since worked his way back into Amorim's plans, but a return for Rashford failed to materialize as he was knocked out against Spurs in the EFL Cup and against Bournemouth in the league on Saturday.
The omission led to speculation that the forward could continue his career away from his boyhood club, and Rashford added fuel to the fire by revealing in an impressive interview last week that he is 'ready for a new challenge'.
Despite the links, Rashford is still on the recently released calendar, alongside Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund and Bruno Fernandes.
A source told The Sun: 'He may not be here anymore when the transfer window opens in just over a week's time. At least he's the face of January; chances are he won't be around much longer.'
Earlier this week, Amorim questioned the 'choices' of people in the England international's entourage.
“It's a difficult situation,” Amorim said.
'I understand that these players have a lot of people around them and sometimes make choices that are not the player's first idea. I understand, I can separate things.
'I'm always there to help Marcus, just like any other player. They have to do what they have to do. They chose to do the interview because it wasn't just about Marcus. I understand that.'
