Marcus Rashford has been 'never happier' after leaving Manchester United for Aston Villa, according to a report.
The 27-year-old has been reborn since his January loan from Old Trafford and Tentalents Tentalents who, according to many, would never return to Villas 5-4 Champions League quarterfinals defeat by Paris Saint-Germain.
Prior to his switch to the Midlands, Rashford was frozen in his boy's club by Ruben Amorim in the midst of his attitude and falling form.
According to Manchester Evening News, the International of England has 'never been happier' during his loan spell in Villa Park.
The report quotes a source that says that the English international has appreciated the man management of Unai Emery. The Spaniard chose the attacker instead of Ollie Watkins against PSG and was rewarded with a great representation against the French champions.
Rashford has yielded three goals and six assists in 15 performances for Villa, which have an option of £ 40 million to permanently make his signature permanent at the end of the season. However, whether he will stay in the club will largely depend on whether Emery can raise his men from the disappointment of their Champions League exit and is eligible for the tournament of next season.
Without Champions League football it is difficult to see how Villa Rashford draws. The 27-year-old earns £ 325,000 a week at United and has shown enough during this spell in Villa to generate interest among clubs, among other things.
The news from Rashford's pleasure on Villa comes in the aftermath of the recording of the Red Devils Legend Wayne Rooney that the attacker is still to return to his parent club.
“Marcus Rashford wants to play for Manchester United, 100 percent,” said Rooney on Amazon Prime. “He is a Manchester boy, Man United fan and it has been difficult in recent years. He had to play and it was clear that he would not play at United for the rest of the season.
“He has clearly demonstrated, sometimes you have to keep on pounding at the manager's door, placing them in a position where they cannot leave you in an ideal world, he would like to leave a legacy at United, whether that is possible, I don't know, but this is what I would like to see.”
It is impossible to deny that Villa is currently representing a more attractive project for a player, given their general upward mobility in recent years.
Although United largely stagnated and, in the case of the current campaign, at least continued to the table, Villa has been advanced in an impressive way under Emery.
Amorim has shown with Alejandro Garnacho that he is willing to bring players back from the cold when they apparently show the right work ethic, which means that the door is probably far from closed for Rashford, but it can be a big summer for him.
