Marcus Rashford can lose about £ 1.5 million after his move to Aston Villa.
The Manchester United filled a sensational switch to the Midlands in the final days of the transfer window after being banned from the first team by Ruben Amorim. Villa will contribute a huge piece of wage from Rashford at the club during his six months.
Reports have suggested that they will pay at least 75 percent, while that could rise to 90 percent. And while Rashford will still continue to rake in his wages of £ 315,000 a week as normal, his bank balance is still hit.
According to MailOnline, the 27-year-old will dramatically reduce his income with sportswear giants. Rashford has been working with the American brand since 2021 after signing a lucrative seven -year -old deal.
That contract can be worth around £ 1.5 million for Rashford per year, but that can now be dramatically lower. The parent club of the attacker was considered a club of category A by Nike when he signed his deal.
But he moved to a lower band by moving to Villa, where Nike halverts a potential wage between each club category. Players at the bottom of the scale have a potential income of just £ 50,000 a year – a huge decrease in the income from Rashford.
It is also suggested that Nike would be eligible to further reduce the wage of the striker. They apparently have the authority to request part of the signing that he received four years ago.
