Rashford should be ‘BANISHED’ from Man Utd dressing room, slams Scholes

The legend Paul Scholes of Manchester United claims that the random star Marcus Rashford from the dressing room must be “banished” in the midst of the current saga with regard to his future.

Rashford, 27, has not been playing for United since December 12 and admitted last month that he is “ready for a new challenge”.

Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim has left him out of the team for every game since his last appearance except one, in which he was an unused replacement.

Amorim also left the attacker away from Sunday's 1-0 win in Fulham and suggests that he is so unhappy with the way he trains, that he would rather choose 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital for him.

Scholes spoke to the constant drama and criticized the attitude of the English international when he “disappointed many people”.

The United Legend warned Rashford that he made the same mistake he made years ago when he asked Sir Alex Ferguson not to play in a cup match against Arsenal.

The ex-England International is of the opinion that he should be banned from the dressing room while giving the wrong example for younger players.

Scholes said the overlap of Sky Bet: “I think Marcus has abandoned many people with his attitude and I think that is what the manager is trying to say.

“You think of the young players who come through the team and think of [Alejandro] Garnacho.

“They are now looking up at people like Marcus and he is 27, he clearly does not train well, he does not live his life well. They are the examples that these people should look at.

'I remember years ago when I told the manager [Ferguson] I didn't want to play in that Arsenal Cup game.

“The meeting that we had after that, I thought I would get the right b ******** g here, he told me:” The worst thing you did was drop your teammates. “And that really stayed Hold on with me.

“Because I didn't really think about that and now I think Marcus Rashford is doing exactly the same.

“OK, he refuses not to play, but in the way he behaves and the way he trains …

“In a sense, he says that he does not want to be involved with the team and the fact that he abandons his teammates, he must be banned from the dressing room.

“If he is in and around and young people see it as an example, the sooner he is, the better he is.”
