Rashford’s Man Utd exit wasn’t the plan – Barça move could reignite him

It has been a rather ridiculous situation in Carrington in the past two weeks. As soon as Ruben Amorim has not been driven out of the Manchester United training field, Marcus Rashford has been brought in.

Banished. Banished. The biggest name in the so -called 'bomb squad'.

It was not meant to end that way. Rashford and United. Amorim and Rashford. But it has been clear for a while that there was no way back.

When Rashford said for United in Plzen in December – five days after his last performance – that he was 'ready for a new challenge and the next steps' in his career.

And when Amorim in January surprisingly claimed in Fulham that he would rather choose his 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital than Rashford plays.

A loan moved to Aston Villa until the end of the season matched all parties, but Rashford always had his heart on Barcelona.

After the training in Marbella this summer, his return to Carrington would always be uncomfortable and so it proved.

Within a few hours after the Rashford camp that he indicated that he was ready to play a complete role in the preseason, United went against to release him time to explore Old Trafford as one of the five players who would no longer train with the first team team.

So it started, Peekaboo's game with Amorim and what was described as a 'coordinated' return code to ensure that the boss went before he came to work.

Rashford has taken over the option to report for training from hours more than the other outcasts, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.

But there is something curious about a club that is desperate in the field of goals that spend £ 130 million on Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo while Rashford, Garnacho, Sancho and Antony Train in exile; Four attackers with a combined value of £ 330millon at their peak.

No story has felt more regrettably than that of Rashford. The Boyhood United fan that grew up to become a diamond from the Academy and the second highest earner of the club at £ 315,000 a week.

Whatever the reason is, there is no doubt that he has lost his way in United. Lost his shape and sometimes it seemed, his love for the game.

This should be a period of his career when he flies, not only trains, at odds with his coach and looking for an escape from the club that has been his house for almost two decades, except for a few months on loan in Aston Villa.

His short spell in the Midlands saw a rejuvenated Rashford. One with a point to prove Amorim and New England -Baas Thomas Tuchel, who deserves an international recall.

And this is the good news. Rashford will only become 28 at the end of October. He is still a young man and comes as an attacker in his first years.

There is still time for him to realize his enormous potential. Barcelona does not sign mediocre players and if they can experience the fire in Rashford and sign it £ 40 million next summer, it will be an absolute cut.

In an attempt to take a wipe in Rashford earlier this week, another former United No.10, Teddy Sheringham, actually made a very relevant point.

“From my perspective, if you go from Manchester United to Barcelona, that is a step higher that he has not earned,” Sheringham said rather Snuifely.

Barca is now one step higher than United. The well -camp is a huge stage and Rashford has a huge opportunity to get his career back on the right track, such as Lamine Yamal and his English place to get back on a more regular basis prior to next year's World Cup.

Who knows, if Amorim the Fortuinen of United cannot breathe new life, the next manager can use well for a player like Rashford the next summer. There is everything to play for.
