Fulham weighs a bid for Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United, but has asked about his willingness to join the rush to still prove himself
Fulham is ready to enter the race for Rasmus Hojlund, but wants guarantees that the Manchester United striker has an interest to join them with the DANE who previously expressed the wish to stay where he is.
The West -Londers weigh a movement for the attacker, since Rodrigo Muniz is the subject of Bids from Atalanta, so that they can remain light in the last third light. Those at Old Trafford are open to Hojlund's exit and are currently looking for a freer.
AC Milan has been in conversation with United with regard to the striker and has offered £ 4.5 million loan costs with an option to buy for £ 39 million. That was seen as the most favorable option before Fulham showed their interest, but they want to know about the state of mind of the player, reports the Daily Mail.
United wants to move on Hojlund, especially after landing from Benjamin Sesko for more than £ 70 million. The ex-Atalanta man has not been able to consistently deliver during his two years in Manchester, so that they again immersed them on the market.
However, the player has expressed his wish to stay and fight for his place, even if the arrival of Sesko will push him further through the pecking order.
It is unlikely that Fulham wants a player who was forced from Manchester and moved to them against his will, as a result they have asked about his willingness to make the move.
Hojlund was determined that he enjoyed the competition when he was questioned about his future during the pre-season tour of United by the United States. He said: “I think my plan is very clear and that is for me to keep fighting for my place, no matter what happens. Competition is fine, it sharpens me. I am more than ready. I feel sharp, so I welcome everything that comes. I think it is good with the competition and it is only the team sharpens.
“I am still very young. I think people sometimes forget that. I am only 22. Of course, not every striker at the age of 22 scores 100 goals. But I have learned a lot, I think you can see in my game.”
Ruben Amorim, however, did not give any guarantees that Hojlund would still be a United player, the end of the summer transfer window. The club will be aware that they want to add a midfielder and a keeper – with sale to raise money and balance the books.
