RB Leipzig reportedly reach out to Liverpool over deal for Harvey Elliott

RB Leipzig has reportedly made contact with Liverpool with regard to a move for Harvey Elliott, with Xavi Simons to leave for Chelsea.

Simons, 22, informed the German club about his intention to leave earlier in the summer and has since been in conversation about a move to Chelsea.

According to David Ornstein of the athletics, RB Leipzig has contacted Liverpool about the availability of Elliott.

It was previously reported that Liverpool was open to the sale of the attacking midfielder this summer, so that he was appreciated at £ 40 million plus a back-back option, or more than £ 50 million without.

Elliott started only two Premier League matches for Liverpool last season, where they both came after the title was won.
