The Andalucians landed in fifth place in the Spanish top flight and will participate in the Europa League in the coming months.

Pellegrini has already closed a deal to have Natan from Napoli moved to a permanent deal in addition to current conversations with Manchester United about Antony.

Antony was impressed by six months on loan in the Estadio Benito Villamarin at the back of 2024/25 and Pellegrini wants to bring him back.

However, the current negotiations have not yet reached an agreement, despite the determination of Ruben Amorim to discharge it.

Club sports director Manu Fajardo offered an update about the situation (via Marca) during the presentation of the last signing of Los Verdiblancos, goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.

“We must all be aware that Antony is a very complex operation because of the level of the player, because of his most recent spell at Real Betis. It is not easy, but as long as he has not committed to another club, we will play our cards to try to sign him.”

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Antony is not the only international Brazil that is considered by Real Betis, with Nottingham Forest -midfielder Danilo also on the Pellegrini radar.

Danilo struggled to go back to the forest team last season, after a long -term injury of injury, and Nuno Espirito Santo is willing to sell him.

Allegedly Lyon was an appointment with a £ 20 million deal, but because of their continuous financial issues, Pellegrini was able to take a late offer for the 24-year-old.
