Antony has been a revelation for real betis since his arrival in January from Manchester United, and understandably there is a desire for him to stay in the club after the end of the current season. However, reaching an agreement on an extension will be said much easier than done for Los Verdiblancos.
Betis is happy with the impact that Antony has made since he came to the club, where the Brazilian winger gathered four goals and four assists in 12 performances in all competitions. Moreover, his general versions were excellent, such as those during last weekend's victory in El Gran Derbi.
That result held Betis on points with Villarreal in the race for the last spot of the Champions League, and according to Relevante the qualification for the Elite competition of European football could give the Andalusians a considerable advantage when it comes to negotiating with Man United in the summer.
Betis would yield at least € 50 million in the qualification for the Champions League of next season, and a considerable part of these funds could be allocated for a deal for Antony. Moreover, it would also increase the chances that the winger put that man United under pressure to accept an offer that comes from the Benito Villamarin, especially because the Premier League side is probably not in the competition itself.
Betis is also said to have good relationships with Man United on the back of the loan agreement that corresponds to during the winter transfer window, and that should make things easier when negotiating in the summer.
