According to reports, Myles Lewis-Skelly is looked at for a stunning transfer by Real Madrid.
The young person enjoyed a breakthrough campaign under Mikel Arteta in the Emirates, play 39 games for the Gunners and with one goal and three assists.
After signing his first professional contract in October 2023, the 18-year-old could already be graduated from North London and ended a decade-long association with the club.
That is because Real Madrid has only been left with his contract with only a year, now “sniffing around”, while keeping an eye on another free transfer for an English star.
According to The Guardian, negotiations between the player and Arsenal on new conditions are “not good”.
And this has really left the Spanish giants on Red Alert to sign the international full-back of England.
The La Liga Club is already ready to land Liverpool's own English international full-back in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who leaves the Premier League champions when his contract ends.
Combined with Jude Bellingham already at the club, this means that the new Madrid team of Xabi Alonso could contain no fewer than three English stars in the Bernabeu.
But in the end the future of the player can depend on where he is seen as playing in the long term.
Lewis-Skelly played as a midfielder during his days in the Hale End Academy, but mainly played as a left-back-very reversed-along the breaking in the first team of Arsenal.
From next season, Arteta has suggested a possible switch to midfield for the teenager.
He said: “He is very intelligent, very prepared and very physical. If you have those three ingredients and you have a personality that can go through blips – it can happen – that's Myles. That's what he did.
“He can be like a 6 and an 8. It depends a lot on the relationships and chemistry with other players, how this evolves within the team.
“And football, in which direction it goes, which also requires certain positions. He is certainly a player who can play in many positions.”
Lewis-Skelly was selected in the latest English team from Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel has used him as a full-back in his last two three lion performances, the qualification of the World Cup collisions against Albania and Latvia in March, the first of which Lewis-Skelly scored.
Losing him to Los Blancos, who have also been long -term admirers of William Saliba, would be a bitter blow to the long -term transfer plans of Gunners.
Arsenal is also in negotiations with fellow star Ethan Nwaneri.
In terms of income this summer, Arsenal has submitted an offer to land Sporting Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres, but were merged by Chelsea.
The blues that are stimulated after news emerged that Liam Delap wants to join them, can give the Gunners a clear chance of the former Coventry Ace.
