Real Madrid and Rodrygo ‘set for exit talks next week

The Brazilian winger Rodrygo will play conversations with Real Madrid about his future in the midst of interest from top European clubs next week, according to reports.

The 24-year-old, who is connected to movements for Arsenal and Liverpool, was an unused replacement in Madrid's embarrassing 4-0 Club World Cup Semi-final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain.

Rodrgyo only took 100 minutes of action at the tournament under the new head coach Xabi Alonso, who only started once in the United States, with people like Gonzalo Garcia and Brahim Diaz.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the attacker will hold conversations with the club next week. While the Portuguese outlet Globo claims that, despite seeing his role, Rodrygo still wants to stay in the Bernabeu.

The exhaust describes the delicate situation as 'as a game of chess game', where the player waits to learn the image of the club before he decides on his next steps.

In addition to the two English clubs that were reported to be interested in acquiring the winner of the Champions League, reports have claimed this week that the current European champions have registered their interest.

According to ESPN Brazil, PSG has contacted the representatives of Rodrygo in the midst of the constant uncertainty about his future.

PSG boss Luis Enrique is considered a big fan of the 24-year-old, although the interest in this stage has not continued.

The Parisians were connected to Rodrygo last summer and they want to build on the strong position they are this summer after winning the Champions League.

Although Rodrygo, who is appreciated by Real at € 90 million (£ 77 million), may have a lower profile than colleague attackers Mbappe and Vinicius JNR, he still has a hugely impressive record at the Bernabeu.

The 24-year-old scored 68 goals and added 51 assists in 270 performances for Los Blancos, but it remains unclear what will happen.

Nonetheless, Alonso, who spoke for Real's victory in the last 16 of the club World Cup, said that Rodrygo has trained well, but also emphasizes that it remains his decision about who plays.

“After the game I try to approach everyone I meet on the way,” said Alonso. 'He had a few minutes [against Salzburg] who were important to him and he will be important.

'In these championships, sometimes those who start are just as important as those who come in. They can have a decisive impact, so every player must be prepared for everything their way comes. Everyone has a good attitude.

'Rodrygo trains well and I see him well. Then it's my decision that plays. '
