Real Madrid confirm attacking duo’s return for crucial Champions League fixture

On Saturday, Real Madrid added another name to the growing list of injured players when Ferland Mendy was struck by a thigh problem during the win in Girona. However, there is at least good news for Carlo Ancelotti as he can now call on two players who missed out at Montilivi.

Real Madrid return to action in the Champions League on Tuesday when they take on Atalanta in a crucial phase of the competition. It has been confirmed that Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes will both travel to Bergamo after being included in Ancelotti's matchday squad. Jude Bellingham has also been included after a minor knock against Girona.

Vinicius was out for two weeks with a muscle injury, while Rodrygo suffered from discomfort a few days ago. Having them both back is a big boost for Real Madrid, who will view the match against Atalanta as a must-win given their position in the standings.
