Real Madrid -midfielder Dani Ceballos has been sidelined by a left hamstring injury and can miss for about two months.
Ceballos went in pain during Madrid's 1-0 win over Real Sociedad in the first stage of their Copa del Rey Semi-final draw on Wednesday, when Endrick scored the only goal.
He limited in the last phases when Madrid placed a foot in the final, which will take place in Sevilla on 26 April.
Since then, Spanish media reports have suggested that he could be out for a maximum of two months, which would mean that he misses a large part of the LaLala-in-in and a last-16-equal game for the Champions League against Atletico Madrid.
In a medical update on their social media accounts on Thursday, Madrid said: “After tests performed today on Dani Ceballos by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with an injury to the Semimembranosus pier that influences the tendon in his left hamstring.
“His recovery will be assessed.”
This season Ceballos played 31 games in all competitions, with 16 of those performances that start.
Only twice-in 2022-23 (46) and 2018-19 (34)-he played more matches for Madrid in one campaign.
