Real Madrid will start the season without one of their most important players in Jude Bellingham, who has finally terminated his injury nightmare of the past 20 months.
Last month it was confirmed that Bellingham would undergo a shoulder operation on the injury he sustained during the aimless draw of Real Madrid against Rayo Vallecano in November 2023. The 22-year-old has been taking care of the problem since that competition, wearing NFL-style filling that has become progressively to guarantee better protection.
There is little doubt that the Bellingham injury has hit, but no more. As Real Madrid is confirmed, the midfielder went under the knife on Wednesday, with the operation, which was performed in London, a success.

Bellingham will now continue with his rest period, which is long too late after a season of 11 months for him and the rest of his Real Madrid teammates. Upon returning to Valdebebas in August, he will start his recovery period, which is expected to last three months-what means that he would have to return to action in mid-October. The absence of Bellingham is a blow to Xabi Alonso, who hopes to have a positive start of his first full season as the head coach of Real Madrid.
