Real Madrid took action on Sunday evening after a second blow of the season against rival Barcelona. Liverpool could be in for another push to land Trent Alexander-Arnold in the January transfer window.
Los Blancos are considering action again in January, with the right-back position one of their priorities. According to Diario AS, Real Madrid are open to increasing their bid after Liverpool rejected a €15 million bid for the 25-year-old. Now they are said to be willing to increase that offer to €20 million to land a player they have already signed for the summer.ç
Yet Relevo claims that Liverpool's steadfastness means Real Madrid are losing any hope they had of signing Alexander-Arnold during this transfer window. If they fail to bring in reinforcements, Carlo Ancelotti will have a choice of Fede Valverde, Lucas Vazquez or Castilla right-back Lorenzo Aguado for the role. El Chiringuito says that Los Blancos will try to make a move, but that they do not want to spend more than 35 to 40 million euros.
