Real Madrid decided last week to pull a deal for Teenage Starlet Abdellah Ouazane, even though a deal was agreed. However, they can change thoughts on the Moroccan Youth International.
Los Blancos was laid first like Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Ouazane, who no longer has a contract this summer. Considered as one of the biggest prospects in the Ajax Academy, he also rejected several offers to stay in the Netherlands.
Ouazane had arrived in the Spanish capital last Monday and spent four days in the city when he looked to close a deal that had already been agreed. Real Madrid, however, found something in his medical tests that rang the alarm bells and decided to pull himself out of the move.
De Telegraaf (via Diario axis), however, reports that the deal is not yet dead in the water. The agent of Ouazane has stated that they will consider other options if the move is not going on, but Ouazane was set to make the move and saw Real Madrid as his dream club. Upon his return to Amsterdam, Ouazane underwent a new medical medical in the Netherlands, the results showing that he has been cut for football at top level.
The report was sent to Real Madrid, and they are now looking over it and consider going back for him. Ouazane would join their Castilla side if it continues. If Los Blancos is definitely against a movement, Ajax would like to have Ouazane back, although he also has other offers from all over Europe.
It could possibly represent a new point of tension with the club's medical department, were Los Blancos to continue and sign Ouazane after a medical advice against it. The serious injury crisis last season caused tension between coaching staff and both the medical team and fitness staff. The head of the last department, Antonio Pintus, is relegated from his position with the arrival of Xabi Alonso and his own fitness coach Ismael Camenforte-Lopez.
