REAL MADRID cult heroes Dani Carvajal and Joselu were reunited this Christmas as they spent the big day with their twin sisters.
The duo enjoyed a dream season together last year after Joselu returned to Real Madrid on loan from Espanyol.
He and Carvajal helped Los Blancos to LaLiga and Champions League success.
They were then both part of the Spanish squad when La Roja won the 2024 European Championship.
Despite Real Madrid picking up their option to make Joselu's loan move permanent last summer, they quickly sold him on to Qatar's Al-Gharafa.
But while they no longer play together at club level, Joselu and Carvajal remain connected through family.
In 2016, the former tied the knot with flight attendant and model Melanie Canizares.
Six years later, Carvajal married Daphne, the twin sister of Melanie's wedding business entrepreneur.
On Christmas Day, Joselu and Melanie uploaded a joint Instagram post for their followers.
In one of the photos, they posed together next to Daphne and Carvajal.
They also uploaded one of the two of them kissing in front of the Christmas tree.
After returning to Madrid for Christmas, Joselu wrote his message: “Best wishes for this special evening with family.”
Carvajal, 32, has had a difficult season on a personal level after suffering a knee injury in October.
A subsequent operation ruled the right-back out for the remainder of the campaign.
Joselu has since played eighteen games for his new club and scored eight goals.
